It has existed for twelve years on a remote estate. Vladamir (our friend) said it was a place of ‘spiritual secrets’ based on ‘freedom, love and independence’. The Flying Cow is its symbol. It offers an alternative to the militaristic festivals favoured by the State authorities. Broad range of music.
And it welcomes travellers and visitors.
Sieben Linden: A pioneering eco-village in Germany that is oft quoted, especially in the 'Eurotopia' Directory, as an example of an intentional community that ‘works’.
Solar Festival – a tipi group started a little festival in Germany, running only with solarpower. It is a Free Festival.
An ‘old school’ (but not free) festival held around the time of the summer solstice in borderlands of Wales/England, UK. Their music description is: “spacerock progressive and blues”.
